Washington Family Engagement

Washington Family Engagement (WAFE)'s mission is to foster social transformation by supporting the development of multigenerational leaders from diverse backgrounds to become actively engaged in schools and communities in Washington State. We exist to address longstanding disparities in academic achievement, financial stability, and quality of life for students and parents of color in America. Our services lead to greater inclusion of all families in the education system, greater voice for underrepresented families in policymaking, and more community leadership by parents and children of color.
