Low Income Housing Institute

The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) develops, owns, and operates affordable permanent and transitional housing to reduce homelessness and help people overcome poverty. Committed to providing the most vulnerable people in our region with tools to gain stability, self-sufficiency, and economic resilience, LIHI provides case management with wrap around services to homeless and low-income families and individuals.

We provide homes and support for over 4,200 people including families with children, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, young adults, immigrants, refugees, and other vulnerable populations. 91% have incomes below 50% area median income and 58% are people of color.
