The Center for Wooden Boat is a hands-on maritime museum that seeks to preserve and pass on the unique maritime culture of the pacific Northwest through direct experience with historic small craft. CWB's youth programs use a positive youth development model to help young people develop the skills, abilities, and attitudes they will need to navigate life through learning new skills on the water and in the shop. CWB also offers employment training programs and provides multiple pathways for young people to explore careers in the maritime industry.
