CHS is a community-based not-for-profit youth and family services agency that has been a resource to children, adults, and families since 1970. Our mission is to strengthen the community through education, counseling, and support. We serve community members through our three core program areas: mental health counseling; family support centers; and substance abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment. CHS believes that the most critical element for strengthening a community is preventive and responsive programs that are culturally sensitive. This is accomplished by taking an approach that is strengths-based, family-focused, client-centered, culturally competent, and fully integrated with other services.
