Girls in 3rd-8th grade.
Program Overview
Offers a 10 week after school running program for girls, ending in a 5K event. Girls are assigned volunteer running buddies who inspire them to cross the finish line of the 5K run. Encourages positive emotional, social, mental and physical development. The 5K is a non-competitive event that provides the confidence that comes through accomplishment as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
