Program Overview
This peer-led program was developed by Renton Youth and Family Services in response to the silence surrounding the issue of dating violence. The DateWise curriculum uses presentations, discussion groups, videos, and group activities.
The GMVCC Teen Program Staff trains interested teens to be peer educators and to present the program to 9th graders in the Tahoma School District. DateWise peer educators develop leadership skills through these various lessons and team building activities.
