Students (grades 1–12) must reside in the High Point SHA community.
Program Overview
Provides after-school educational tutoring and enrichment programming for residents of five low- and mixed-income housing communities in Seattle. The program includes reading, academic skill building and homework help in structured one-to-one tutoring sessions.
We partner with families facing the challenges of financial need, racism, and limited English proficiency to help students overcome educational opportunity gaps.
Tutoring centers are staffed by education professionals and volunteers. Tutoring is available on-site for students who need academic assistance and are living in one of the six participating housing communities. Call for more specific site location information.
