Program Overview
CCW's workforce development program is designed to meet the needs of youths age 18-24 experiencing homelessness. Cool Water Painters embraces youth with a supportive and compassionate community, empowering them through a cohort-style learning environment where peer motivation and program attachment stimulate development.
Program graduates will:
(1) have an exemplary work ethic and the ability to represent an organization well
(2) experience increased self-efficacy, self-awareness, self-confidence, and the ability to work well as a member of a team
(3) have the ability to communicate well with co-workers and supervisors; adapt to workplace culture, values and norms; and the ability to manage and work through conflict.
