Latino Leadership Initiative (LLI)

The Latino Leadership Initiative (LLI) is a consortium of six educational organizations (Edmonds College, Everett Community College, Skagit Valley Community College, The Economic Association of Skagit County, Washington State University and LETI) that provides leadership training to Latino college students who are from moderate- and low-income families. The training is aimed at inspiring and empowering Latino students to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams, gain confidence in their ability to lead and serve as role models and to take charge of their lives. As part of this training, these students mentor at-risk middle and high school students and encourage them to strive to achieve a future that is far brighter than their past.
