Program Overview
In the loving tradition of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, LL+L features chefs, storytellers and artists of color, along with young BIPOC learners.
LL+L has three areas of focus:
- Enriched learning: We create developmentally-appropriate shows for children aged 3-8 that build the social-emotional learning skills that are critical for growing up.
- Bridge the achievement gap: Our work is anchored in the most up-to-date research about the what works to promote school success for Black and Brown learners.
- Community collaboration: We partner with local organizations such as Parent Trust and Child Care Resources, to offer Parent Tips and to provide parents, caregivers and children with resources to create their own learning experiences.
