Program Overview
Valley Cities School Based Programs have partnered with the Kent, Auburn, Tahoma, and Federal Way School Districts to offer counseling and behavioral health services within the schools. The Program provides assessment, treatment planning, individual and group mental health treatment services, safety planning, and collaboration with caregivers and school staff. Our common goal is to maximize the student's success in all aspects of life, including academics, behavior, and home life. School Based Program addresses a critical mental health need in a community setting for underserved youth and helps them to build skills that will allow them to achieve academic success and carry this forward into adulthood.
