Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association

We run a variety of programs in the arts, changing offerings to best support the needs of our community. We offer EcoArts classes (now virtual) year-round, taught by local teaching artists, at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, Camp Long, Croft Place, and Seattle Housing Authority's sites at High Point, NewHolly, and Rainier Vista. EcoArts engages local youth, predominantly from BIPOC backgrounds, in visual arts programs that intertwine lessons of environmental stewardship. Our Restorative Justice program (now virtual) works with youth from Interagency Academy, an alternative public high school, across multiple sites, including Beacon Academy at Youngstown. This program focuses on arts and peacemaking circles as tools to heal trauma.
