MCFHC has remained open throughout this time as a front-line early learning and school age program, predominantly serving those most affected by COVID-19 in our low-income and BIPOC communities.
In order to increase occupancy in light of CDC Guidelines and Puget Sound ESD limitations, we have expanded our operations footprint, purchased or leased new rooms and buildings, and are diligently responding to the learning and engagement needs of homeless students, Foster children and extremely low-income learners in Pierce County.
This project serves more than 750 BIPOC, low-income learners with improved technology access, mentor support, teacher-to-student ratios, homework and tutoring help and ongoing support and resources.
