Our program aims to bridge the opportunity gap for youth from low-income communities of color who face systemic inequities that limit access to resources, opportunities, and networks often necessary to achieve academic and professional goals. For nine years starting in their sophomore year of high school, each participant receives weekly mentoring with professional staff mentors and peer groups, expansive summer learning experiences, individualized post-secondary advising and support, career readiness activities, and assistance with internships and job placement. Our comprehensive program is grounded in current research on adolescence and capitalizes on the unique developmental opportunities present during this period.
