Program Overview
The YMCA provides a range of youth development programs. Our School Age program provides before & after school care with enrichment & educational activities; with schools in various stages of reopening we currently offer this in 16 schools in 5 districts. For those whose schools remain virtual, the Y launched Learning Academies so those who can't stay home alone while their parents work or lack adequate internet access at home have a place to attend their virtual classes during the day. For older students, we offer teen mentoring & homework clubs in 2 local school districts.
Act Six is a partnership with Gonzaga & Whitworth Universities, offering students from historically underrepresented groups an opportunity to pursue higher education.
