Program Overview
What and Who is the PTO? We are an organization of Mountlake Terrace Elementary Community members invested in the enrichment of student education as well as issues and problems that affect our community. We are made up of parents, guardians and family members of students as well as teachers and staff. Mission and 2020/21 Goals MTE PTO is organized for the purpose of supporting the educational experience of children at Mountlake Terrace Elementary by fostering relationships among the parents, teachers and school. It is our goal to further the development of our children and contribute to the greater public good through unifying our community. Our goal this year is to find ways to best support our families in this unique school year and ways to bring virtual experiences to MTE students and families. We want to foster small community connections within classes and grades to increase support and a sense of connection at a time when many are isolated.
