Communities In Schools of Federal Way

Our school-based Site Coordinators provide a critical one-on-one relationship and social/emotional support system with and for our young people who often have been left behind by systems, institutions, and curricula that undervalues their communities, their assets, and their culture. The supportive, trusting relationships that they build with students and the deep understanding of the complexities of each student's personal story is essential to providing them with the right wraparound support system, tailored to their individualized needs, that will remove their barriers to achievement and put them on a path to a successful future.
