Youth Art Program

Our EcoArts Program is centered around direct engagement with Delridge communities. Our work is personal, and face-to-face. As the COVID-19 pandemic progressed in 2020, we transitioned to providing online art programming via the DNDA Art Challenge. On Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, our EcoArts teaching artists facilitated the DNDA Art Challenge for our virtual community through HeartSpace. The teaching artists announced a new prompt every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday to inspire community creations, centering on intertwining art with nature and sustainability. Community members could create using any materials in any artistic discipline of their choosing, then shared their work with DNDA on social media. DNDA teaching artist hosted Movement Mondays, an open-level movement class every Monday, on DNDA’s Instagram. These efforts represent our work in making this world more connected while we are all practicing social distancing.
