Program Overview
Join us for stories, activities, rhymes, and singing for the whole family at the park!! Bring your own blanket, towel, or lawn chair to claim your space!
Edgemont Park has benches and a shelter that can be utilized if available.
The event will be outdoors and participants should prepare for being in the sun/the current weather. In the event of inclement weather (excessive heat, smoke, rain, etc.) the event will be cancelled.

Health & Safety
Programs will be outdoors and offsite, but program participants may go to the library for books or the facilities. Masks required in library buildings (5 and older). Following Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department's directive and the State of Washington's order, the Pierce County Library Library System requires the public and staff, regardless of vaccination, to wear masks to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Children ages 2-4 are strongly encouraged to wear a mask per the Department of Health. Also, per public health directives, masks are required outdoors where physical distancing isn't possible.
