Program Overview
Stories, activities, rhymes, and singing for the whole family. Bring your own blanket, beach towel, or chair to claim your space!
The program will be held in the grassy area behind the South Hill Library parking lot. Just look for the signs!
Registration not required but recommended for weather-related updates. The event will be outdoors and might be in the sun. Participants should prepare for being in the sun/the current weather. In the event of inclement weather (excessive heat, smoke, rain, etc.) the event will be cancelled. Note: there is a virtual family story time on Fridays at 9:45.

Health & Safety
Story time will be outdoors, but program participants may go inside for books or restrooms. Masks required in library buildings (5 and older).
Following Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department’s directive and the State of Washington’s order, the Pierce County Library Library System requires the public and staff, regardless of vaccination status, to wear masks to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Children ages 2-4 are strongly encouraged to wear a mask per the Department of Health. Also, per public health directives, masks are required outdoors where physical distancing isn’t possible.
