Program Overview
Our motto is simply to “Empower, Engage, and Educate!” Build 2 Lead works to empower, engage, and educate BIPOC youth, their families, and communities.
Our Vision: Build 2 Lead will uplift collective voices, increase social capital, and economic mobility for the sustainability of our BIPOC communities.
This four pronged approach funnels youth and young adults to a myriad of program offerings. The following programs are offered under the umbrella of the “Pathway To Success Series:”
- Closing The G.A.P. (Gaining Access through Preparation)
- Entreleadership (Creating entrepreneurial habits through vision and mission building, college planning, and personalized leadership). (Community and school based programming).
- Civic Champions (Scaling youth voice to advocate for their community, understanding policy and the power of lobbying). (Community-Based Programming).
- General mentorship and afterschool programming (Build 2 Lead summer experience, tailored in-school programming, and afterschool social and emotional learning opportunities).
