Friendship, fun, and project-based learning! 4-H teaches life skills to youth through hands-on activities, leadership development, and community involvement by hosting clubs for families, youth, and volunteers to learn and work together on projects kids care about. Our programs are backed by Washington State University Extension, Kittitas County, and a community of 4‑H volunteers and professionals. Through hands-on learning, kids build confidence, creativity, curiosity, and life skills such as leadership and resiliency to help them thrive today and tomorrow. With the support of adult mentors, youth select from a variety of hands-on project ideas to complete. There are over 100 different 4-H projects within STEM+Agriculture, Healthy Living, and Civic Engagement, including Livestock – Horse – Robotics – Art – Leadership – Small Animal – Outdoor Education – Food & Nutrition – Science – Community Service – and so much more! 4‑H programs are available for kids and teens ages 5-18. Most clubs in Kittitas County meet once or twice a month on a weekday evening.
