Program Overview
All YES substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment programs are motivational and strength-based, addressing substance use in the context of the whole person. The programs are designed to assist youth and their caregivers in developing skills to reduce substance use, make thoughtful choices, and address contributing factors such as stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma, in order to create a life worth living. We also host a Parent/Caregiver Support Group.
Co-Occurring Disorders Counseling
Our skilled, dually-certified therapists work one-to-one with youth and their families to treat substance use disorders simultaneously with co-occurring mental health issues, such as depression and/or anxiety. This integrated approach to substance use treatment promotes long-term recovery by addressing not only substance use issues, but also their root causes.
Road to Recovery Groups
YES’ three phase Road to Recovery Groups embrace the content and philosophy of Seven Challenges therapy. Seven Challenges is an evidence-based approach designed to motivate youth over the age of 13, to evaluate their lives, consider changes they may need to make, and succeed in implementing those changes. Groups are offered in combination with individual counseling and family participation. Youth start in the phase that is relevant to their needs, determined at their assessment.
