Greater Youth Sports Association

Greater Youth Sports Association (GYSA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that believes sports can build success in the lives of at-risk children. Sadly, more than 70% of low-income children do not participate in organized sports often due to cost, missing out on both the physical and mental benefits.

Our vision is to foster healthy and productive generations of children by using sports to improve their overall physical and mental health. Our premier program, the School Sports Solution, partners with local elementary schools and provides students with affordable after-school sports programming, paired with an evidence-based curriculum that includes character development, Social Emotional Learning skills and reading mentorship.
