Kirkland Arts Center

Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) unleashes the power of art to ignite individual growth and self-expression, build community spirit, and cultivate cultural vibrancy. KAC is a leading voice in visual arts learning for Kirkland and the Greater Eastside community. Founded in 1962, KAC currently serves 500 students per quarter ages 3 to 90 in quarterly 8-10 week art classes. In 2019, over 475 youth participated in youth programs including classes, summer camp, and school-based programs. KAC's vision is to be a regional thought leader in art engagement opportunities that support community health. Make Your Mark, an arts-based SEL program that promotes emotional growth and self-awareness for our most vulnerable youth, is central to this vision.
