Program Overview
Make Your Mark offers arts engagement with social and emotional learning at their core as an extended learning opportunity and element of a multi-tiered system of support for youths most impacted by Covid-19 in the Lake Washington School District (LWSD). A highly-credentialed staff of teaching artists is led by Trish Brownlee, licensed arts educator and veteran, and Isabelle Hardesty, an award-winning African American arts educator and illustrator. Youth in grades K-5 are use creative engagement and journaling to explore identity and self in a 15 week program through small groups on a online format.
