Madres de Casino Road

Madres de Casino Road (MCR) is a non-profit organization that started in 2017. Initially, the goal was to empower women in their personal development through education. As time passed, some of the objectives changed since the organization started working with different age groups from the community and found the need to provide a safe environment for vulnerable families. In 2019 MCR launched a mentoring program for young Latinx girls. The program was presented in Spanish and it focused on the challenges of the teenage/young adult years in connection to their unique concept of being Latinx and children of immigrant parents.
