The 5th Avenue Theatre's mission is to nurture, advance, and celebrate all aspects of America's great original art form: The Musical. As one of America's leading musical theater companies, we make a difference through the power of musicals in three ways. First, we create and produce original musicals from the ground up for our mainstage. We enrich the community we love with the art form we love reaching 275,000 audience members each year with our original powerhouse productions. Second, we develop new musicals that push artistic boundaries and tell new stories. Third, our outstanding suite of education programs ignites a love for musicals and nurtures and develops future audiences and performers, reaching 75,000 youth in a typical year.
