Leadership Launch’s mission is to empower, equip, and engage student leaders from a place of equity. We work with students in the 9th grade through the first year of college who want to impact the community, grow as leaders, and pursue their dreams. We are dedicated to personal development, servant leadership, mentorship, and community engagement.
We primarily work with first-generation college-bound students and students facing hardship. Our program includes facilitated weekly student meetings, meetings with civic leaders, one-on-one mentorship, college preparation support, family inclusion, and much more.
Our curriculum teaches foresight, fortitude, and civic engagement, demonstrated by each cohort of students through an annual Launch Project. These projects allow our students the opportunity to convey the determination, inspiration, vision, and diligence that will launch them as leaders.
Leadership Launch’s curriculum, Launch Projects, and activities give students the platform to engage in public and civic leadership through experience, with the support of volunteers, mentors, and Leadership Launch staff.
