Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Zeta Omega Omega Chapter

Zeta Omega Omega is a Tacoma-based chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-trained women. Founded in 1908, AKA supports lifelong development of each of its members and works for equality and equity for all citizens of the world. Our chapter, founded in 1957, impacts lives through service that deepens with college graduation. Our five target areas are HBCU for Life, Women's Healthcare, Economic Legacies, The Arts!, and Global Impact. Our signature program is College Admissions Process (#CAP), a program in which we provide Black and multiracial students, most of whom live in poverty, with guidance and support throughout the college application and enrollment process.
