Central Lutheran Church - On The Corner

Our mission is to support families by providing a free and safe place for their kids to come after school, reducing their risk of dropping out of school or joining gangs. It is our vision to build resilience and close the opportunity gap for at risk and underserved youth in our community. On The Corner (OTC) includes many enrichment activities to expand learning and peer to peer engagement. We offer a meal upon arrival because many of our families struggle with food insecurity. OTC remains free because the majority of our participants live at or below the poverty level. In order to create change within our community, we must open doors of opportunity to all young people, and be key advocates for sustainable change in their lives.
