Program Overview
On the Corner (OTC) is a free after-school program that provides a safe and positive environment for children in the Yakima Valley.
On the Corner provides kids afterschool tutoring, exercise, and activities for groups and individuals, including STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) centers. Developing academic and social skills in a safe, accepting environment fostered by social and emotional learning builds better communities by focusing on their most vulnerable group: The Children.
By facilitating educational, yet fun endeavors, we create an atmosphere where children can be themselves, grow as individuals, and build self-confidence. At OTC, our students gain an understanding of community and world needs by participating in service projects. Our goal is to build upon the belief that every person counts and can make a difference
