Program Overview
Offers a free after-school program that uses soccer as a tool to combat childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles for children in low-income communities.
Program provides three 90-minute after-school sessions per week for two 12-week seasons each school year, which include a healthy snack, 60 minutes of physical activity, and mentorship from trained coach-mentors.
Additional program events include jamboree tournaments between program sites, family banquet nights, and other family engagement opportunities.
