YOUTH WHO ARE
Serves self-identified LGBTQ young adults, ages 18 through 25, and children of LGBTQ adults.
Program Overview
Offers counseling for LGBTQ young adults as well as children of LGBTQ adults. Crisis counselors are trained in issues involving youth, sexual orientation, 'coming out', HIV/AIDS and gender identification.
Offers referrals for housing, employment, health, mental health and counseling.
Practical Skills Assistance places emphasis on job-finding, 'coming out,' making productive decisions and utilizing community resources for tangible needs (food, shelter, etc.).
Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).
