Experiencing Homelessness
Program Overview
Vadis began providing support services to youth and young adults experiencing homelessness in 2012. This program provides outreach, resources, employment services, and life skills workshops to youth and young adults experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness and Rapid Rehousing Services to young adults.
Our staff help youth and young adults determine their goals and provide job placement assistance. The program focuses on developing skills to increase independence by delivering training sessions on financial literacy, preparing to be a renter, leadership, nutrition, goal setting, job preparation, communication, and more to help develop the skills they need to be successful.
