Communities In Schools of Lakewood

Communities In Schools of Lakewood (CISL) provides pipeline of student supports from elementary through high school with a model of 'Integrated Student Supports,' a school-community based approach to promoting students' academic success by coordinating a system of wraparound supports for the child, the family, and schools, and targets students' academic and non-academic barriers to learning. Site Coordinators within four school communities provide school-wide supports open to all students (2,200 participants annually), targeted interventions and individualized case management (~200 participants annually).
