Kids aged 5-12 who are beginner riders and handlers. Neurodiverse included!
Program Overview
Our therapeutic horseback riding programs are for youth aged 5-12. We focus on mental health including emotional, behavioral and/or cognitive challenges.
Several of our students have come from the DSHS Developmental Disabilities Administration, meaning that they qualify and receive funding through the state. We've worked with kids with all kinds of diagnosis's, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Anxiety, PTSD, Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD.
While some of our rider's have physical disabilities, we focus on their mental health. A small portion of our clients are non-verbal.
