Run the Fun! Santa's Sleigh 5K

It's time to get into the holiday spirit! Join us in your finest ugly holiday sweaters, Santa suits, and festive attire to celebrate the season! Hot cocoa, music, and giveaways! There are also virtual run options!   

5K Course Information:

The beautifully forested 5K course on the Nathan Chapman Memorial Trail is very flat and stroller friendly. Starting at Heritage Recreation Center, the course runs around the baseball fields then heads south and takes a large counter-clockwise loop around South Hill Park and forested wetlands. 

The course then progresses back toward Heritage Recreation Center lower soccer fields, north along 94th Avenue, then west through the lower parking lot (next to Zeiger Elementary) and ends in between fields #2 and #3 inside the sports complex. This 5K course is chip timed. Results will be made available on our website the week after the race. 

Pre-registration required. Registration will not be available on the day of the race.

Registration includes race bib and Santa's Sleigh keepsake medal! Collect all 5 medals across the series to be entered to win a prize! The 5K courses are USATF certified and chip timed. Results will be made available online on our website the week after the race. Spectators are not allowed, however one member of the same household can provide support along the activity area.

This event starts at 9:30 a.m. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Heritage Recreation Center.
