We welcome youth of all backgrounds, including those who are Black, Indigenous, and person of color (BIPOC); LGBTQIA+; low-income; and/or first generation. Youth must live within reasonable commuting distance of Clark College.
Program Overview
Eureka! is a 5-year STEM magnet program for 8th – 12th grade youth, that empowers them to see themselves as an important part of the future workforce. During the Eureka! program, youth participate in a variety of exciting lessons and activities that explore STEM through inquiry-based, critical thinking and hands-on activities in a college campus environment. With complimentary activities in making healthy choices, emerging adulthood, and life skill development, Eureka! fully fosters educational, professional, and personal development.
Health & Safety
All Eureka! staff and volunteers are vaccinated against COVID-19. As the pandemic evolves, we will follow recommended safety precautions and will communicate all COVID-19 safety policies to youth and their families.

During summer camps, snacks are provided by Girls Inc., and participants are expected to bring their own lunch.

This program regularly takes place at different locations.
During the school months, Eureka! “Monthly Learning Sessions” will primarily take place virtually. During the summers, rising 8th, 9th, and 11th graders will participate in summer STEM day camps at Clark College. Additional camp activities will take place at a public swimming pool, local parks, and one or more field trip locations (TBD). Each summer, rising 10th and 12th graders participate in paid internships at various locations in the community.

Upon receipt of application: We will send you a confirmation email upon application receipt and review. Once your application has been reviewed, we will invite you to a group or individual interview with our team, where we will explain the program fully, answer any questions you have, and ask you a few questions as well. Please allow up to 2 weeks for application processing. Within 1 week of interview: We will email you to let you know, based on our criteria, if you’ve been accepted to the program. If you have been accepted, we will share with you the details of the New Eurekans Orientation.
