Program Overview
Auburn-based Neighborhood House Youth Tutoring Site.
Our community center provides after-school programming focused on academics, SEL, and fun!
We provide after-school tutoring assistance including homework help and other learning activities, such as field trips and community service opportunities. Firwood Circle offers an interactive space for youth to receive academic support, engage and showcase their experimental projects, explore recreational opportunities and undertake some college and career planning. The additional focus is youth leadership and racial equity with a youth lens. Extended hours are available during the summer months. Most K12 youth attend Gildo Rey or Lakeland Hills Elementary, Mt Baker Middle, or Auburn Riverside.

Health & Safety
100% in-person programming. The program mode is subject to transition into hybrid programming of in-person and virtual, where deemed appropriate. Our focuses have been on: academic support; enrichment opportunities; social-emotional learning; games/recreation; & college readiness when applicable.
