YOUTH WHO ARE
Open to Firwood Circle residents and surrounding neighborhoods. Priority is given to KCHA or Section 8 housing youth residents.
Program Overview
Summer programming will include K–5 time block; teen time block; summer lunch and snack; and field trip and guest speaker opportunities. The focus will be to prevent the summer slide and community-building programming.
STAFF TO YOUTH RATIO
2 staff for every 22 youth
Health & Safety
Participants are encouraged to use COVID safety practices such as wearing masks, social distancing when appropriate, and washing/sanitizing hands frequently. Face masks are available, air purifiers are stationed in the center.
