Virtual After-School Programs

We offer two weekly virtual storytelling programs, one for writers in 4th - 8th grade. We focus on building community, storytelling, character and world building, writing skills, and creativity. Prompts are provided in each session, often building off of skills and writing done in previous weeks, but students are encouraged to work on their own projects as well. We also encourage students to share their work in the group setting and provide their peers with feedback and encouragement. 

These programs are led jointly by our Greenwood and Yesler Program Managers as we look to build a cohort of writers from across the Seattle area.
