Children who have witnessed domestic violence, are living in a safe place (where the abuser is not in the home), and are residents of South King County.
Program Overview
The Children’s DV program works with children and non-abusive parents to minimize the impact of family violence. We utilize a nationally recognized model to help children overcome the trauma of witnessing violence in the home.
Teaches safety plans, conflict resolution skills and self-care methods to children who have witnessed domestic violence through a 10-week program of educational in-home, one-on-one counseling.
