Youth and young adults ages 15 and older, with physical, developmental or mental disabilities.
Program Overview
Provides social and recreational programs for people with physical, mental and developmental disabilities. Programs include
- Swimming
- Bowling
- Outdoor activities
- Social events
- Day camps.
Participants may be required to bring an attendant. Provides transportation for program activities using a city vehicle. Will provide interpreter services with advance request.

How To Register
If you are interested in any class but hesitate to register because of a developmental or physical limitation, please call Spartan Recreation at (206) 801-2600 for help getting started. Reasonable accommodations will need a minimum of three weeks' notice in advance of the program's start date.
Participants needing individual assistance to participate in programs, including toileting, transferring, eating, dressing, or behavior intervention, must bring an attendant/aide to programs. The aide must fill out paperwork to attend.

2022 Specialized Recreation Liability Waiver is required to complete before the program start date which can be accessed on our website.
Participants attending with a Trained Personal Assistant/Aide is required to complete forms before the program start date.
