Program Overview
The MYLP is a two-day conference for Muslim college students and high school juniors and seniors that focuses on faith and Muslim identity through a social justice lens. This conference is an opportunity for Muslim youth in Washington State to connect with nationally recognized social justice leaders, scholars, authors, and activists.
Student attendees gather to learn about ideas, career paths, and each other's experiences for individual empowerment, as well as learing about grassroots advocacy and movements they can become involved in to strengthen the Muslim community in our state.
At the end of the conference, attendees were paired with specially selected mentors for lasting connections, based on their stated interests and career goals.
