Program Overview
The WMF's Community Outreach Mobile Educational Program's focus is to bring local earth science (local Ice Age history, methods in paleontology, archaeology, geology), into our schools and communities that will inspire youth, cultivate curiosity, and a desire to learn more.
The WMF does this by utilizing WMF lessons and presentations that meet STEM and the Next Generation Science Standards. The WMF also provides a Mobile Educational Exhibit that displays ancient fossils, casts, petrified wood, volcanic rocks, and items that supports the curriculum.
Youth can even touch a "real mammoth tusk"! The WMF also brings hands-on activities that supports the lesson topic. The lessons, exhibit, and activities can be adjusted to meet the teacher's or event's focus.

The WMF visits local K-12 schools and universities, in classroom or assembly settings, and science fairs. The WMF also visits local community and organizational events such as the Central Washington State Fair.

Registration Details
There is a downloadable scheduling form on our website (www.WenasMammoth.org) where you can choose what you would like to schedule, such as the Mobile Educational Exhibit (Museum), presentations, and hands-on activities. The fee is determined by what you would like to include when we visit your school or event. The form also includes the date and time of your event, and estimated round trip mileage.
