Program Overview
Our Rise Up Summer Program program is going to focus on two main areas:
1) Creating a stimulating, fun environment that exposes our students to a variety of different sports, games and events that encourage participation, sportsmanship and collaboration including field trips to local parks and sports venues – both indoor and outdoors, as well as volunteers and contracted specialists who will introduce and guide events onsite.
2) Continuing an emphasis on academics in a fun and engaging manner including weekly Chess lessons, STEM activities, a summer reading challenge and weekly projects designed to reinforce and improve reading and math skills.
