Staff, volunteers, or community members must fill out the online COVID-19 Symptom Survey Tracker prior to entering the building and follow safety measures upon entering the space including:
Wearing a facial mask that covers both nose and mouth
Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet
Disinfect surfaces that have been touched
Track time entered and departure from the building
Considerations for timing of reopening:
Availability of vaccinations in the community
Public Health reports
Availability of PPE
Safety protocols for community members who are not able to get vaccinated
When it is safe to reopen, Oasis will do so through careful planning and community input while incorporating the following standards.
-Scheduled Visits
-Health Screens Upon Arrival (Temperature check, Symptoms questionnaire, Recent diagnosis or risk of exposure, Confirmation of receipt to COVID-19 Vaccine)
-Once approved for entry, individuals will be instructed on proper mask wearing. If the individual does not arrive with a mask, they will be given one.
-Individuals presenting with COVID-19 symptoms or disclose of a recent diagnosis/exposure will not be allowed to enter. The individual’s name will be flagged and they will be instructed to wait 14 days after their last symptoms or exposure as well as proof of a negative COVID-19 test before coming back.
-Individuals who refuse the health screen will not be allowed to enter. Staff or volunteers will work with the individual outside of the building to arrange a way back home or another safe location
-Hand Sanitizer Stations will available at key locations throughout the building, including at the building entrances and other high traffic areas. Visual reminders and scheduled announcements will be made throughout the day to encourage individuals to wash and sanitize their hands regularly.
-Face Masks. Proper use of face masks is required for individuals to remain in the building. This includes ensuring that masks are tightly fitted to the face with minimal gaps and that they cover the entirety of the mouth and nose. Individuals who would like to double mask will be given the necessary supplies to do so. Visual reminders and scheduled announcements will be made throughout the day to encourage individuals of proper and effective mask use.
-Containment Kits will be available for use in the event that an individual suddenly shows signs and symptoms of COVID-19 after entering the space. The Containment Kit will contain N-95 masks, face shields, safety glasses, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, and disposable gloves. If containment is needed, staff may close in-person programs and services. Staff will work with community members to ensure that they are able to get where they need to go safely.
-Scheduled cleaning and sanitizing. All high touch surfaces including furniture, door handles, faucets, and bathroom/kitchen spaces, and public goods such as board games will be cleaned and sanitized regularly or every hour.
-6 feet social distance. Individuals will be monitored for a minimum of 6 feet of social distance between others while in the building and waiting to be let into the building.
-COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements. All staff providing in-person programming and services must be COVID-19 vaccinated. All staff, youth and volunteers participating in in-person programs must provide proof of vaccination.
