Oasis Youth Center Virtual Check In

Oasis transforms the lives of queer and questioning youth by creating a safe place to learn, connect, and thrive. Oasis envisions a world in which queer youth are valued in the community as strong, creative leaders. We are a youth-adult partnership where young people and adults come together for shared teaching, learning, and action.

Oasis is currently closed for drop-in, but our weekly check-in will still go on! Check-in is from 7-8pm. The Zoom meeting is open from 6:30-8:30pm for youth to hang out and socialize before and after. Live closed captioning is available for this program from 7-8pm.  During Check-In, everyone has an opportunity to share highs and lows of the week and we all gather virtually with our community and peers. 

Check-In is a 35 year Oasis tradition, we get together as a community and share how we’re doing. With the closure, we will be hosting check-in online. We are still a strong, connected community. We are here for you and we will get through this difficult time together. This program is open to LGBTQ youth ages 14-24. To attend, please email oasis@oasisyouthcenter.org with your Oasis log-in email and full name. We will confirm your identity as a current Oasis youth and send you the meeting link. The virtual meeting can be accessed by computer or phone.
