Program Overview
Work Force Development Center (WFDC) is a 501(c)(3) social enterprise nonprofit organization founded in 1991 by parents and community leaders to help at-risk high school students challenged by disabilities and socioeconomic disadvantages to stay in school and build a more secure future. WFDC's purpose is to enable students who are in danger of high school dropout to graduate from high school and help them develop the skills for success as they enter the workforce. WFDC's mission: To operate as a Work Force Development Center that promotes the personal growth and economic independence of high school students and adults living with disabilities and/or employment barriers by providing training programs and employment opportunities.

Students should contact their school counselor, IEP case manager or WFDC directly at [email protected]. WFDC serves students in every school district in Snohomish County, Shoreline School District in North King County and South Whidbey School Dist.
